Wearing a Mask When Playing Golf

Dear Members,

As mandated by the government, we would like to remind you that masks must be worn in all areas of the Club except when eating, drinking or showering. Masks must be worn when playing golf – whether that it is on the golf courses, at the driving range or at any of the Club’s practice facilities.

The penalties for failing to wear a mask for both individual golfers and potentially the Club itself are severe, so we must insist that all members and their guests adhere to this mask-wearing requirement until further notice.

Protect Yourself in the Heat

At the same time, with the weather getting warmer, please be reminded that golfers are especially prone to heat exhaustion and other heat illnesses, including heat stroke and dehydration.

As such, taking precautions and recognising the symptoms or early warning signs of heat exhaustion is absolutely essential. Fatalities from heat emergencies occur every year in Hong Kong, so if at any time you feel unwell, we strongly urge you to NOT CONTINUE YOUR ROUND.

Please note that Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) can be found in the halfway houses of the Old, New and Eden Courses (08:30 – 17:00), the Clubhouse Reception (24 hours) and in the Security Office (06:00 – 20:30).

If you require emergency assistance at any time, call 2679-7999.
