Four New Reciprocal Clubs for Members to Enjoy!
Dear Members,
Although Covid-19 and associated preventative measures has made travel to and from Hong Kong very challenging over the past two years, the Club has nevertheless been exploring the opportunity of adding additional clubs to our reciprocal roster.
With travel restrictions now being eased to an extent, and with many members travelling or making plans to travel, we are delighted to inform you that we have signed new reciprocal arrangements with four world-class clubs across three continents.

New South Wales Golf Club Australia
Constructed in the 1920s and laid out by famed golf course architect Alister Mackenzie, this seaside course is widely considered one of the top courses in Australia. The member-only club, located just a 25-minute drive from downtown Sydney, overlooks Botany Bay where Captain James Cook first sailed into Australia on the SS Endeavour in 1770. In addition to offering beautiful scenic views, its spectacular clubhouse provides a combination of traditional comfort and five-star comfort. nswgolfclub.com.au
Hakone Country Club Japan
Set in the picturesque Hakone Highlands, this private club was founded in 1954 and was designed by Shiro Akahoshi, the renowned Japanese architect (and a former Japan Amateur Champion) whose design philosophy closely echoes that of the great ‘Golden Age’ architects of the early 20th century. Known for its boldly contoured green complexes, Hakone CC is revered as one of Japan’s best courses and boasts a tremendous variety of flora and fauna as well as hot springs that the region is famous for.
Golf Club Milano Italy
Founded in 1928, Golf Club Milano, just 20km from the heart of Italy’s fashion capital and located inside the majestic Villa Reale Park in Monza, is a 9-time host of the European Tour’s Open d’Italia. Comprising 27 holes, the course winds its way through beautiful old woodland and features tricky greens protected by classic bunkering. Off the course, GC Milano continues to impress. Orient Golf & Country Club Taiwan
Located 25km west of Taipei, this is one of Taiwan’s premier golf clubs, providing a thoroughly modern challenge featuring bold bunkering and slick, undulating greens. Water comes into play on a number of holes, which are also floodlit to allow for nighttime golfing. The clubhouse is particularly well equipped and has won awards for its design.
